v0.1 — now in beta

Mock APIs, ready
before your backend is.

Define endpoints, shape responses, and simulate latency or failures in seconds. QuantaAPI removes the backend bottleneck so your frontend never waits.

GET
GET/api/users
800ms
Response
200

No request sent yet.

Configure latency and status, then hit send.

Features

Everything you need to simulate an API

QuantaAPI gives you the controls to reproduce real backend behavior — without waiting for one.

Response configuration

Define status codes, headers, and JSON bodies for every endpoint. Shape exactly what your client receives.

Latency control

Simulate real network conditions with response delays from milliseconds to several seconds.

Request validation

Validate incoming request bodies and headers against a schema so your mocked contract stays honest.

Error simulation

Inject configurable failure rates—500s, timeouts, and edge cases—to harden your error handling.

How it works

From zero to a working mock in three steps

No config files, no infra. Define, configure, and connect.

01

Define an endpoint

Pick a path and method — GET, POST, PUT, DELETE. No server to provision.

POST /api/checkout
02

Shape the behavior

Set the response body, latency, and failure rate to match the scenario you need.

{ status: 200, latency: 800ms }
03

Point your frontend at it

Call the fetch route with your collection key in the header — no session or SDK required.

x-collection-api-key: <token>
Usage

Call your mock like a real API

No SDK, no session. Point your client at the fetch route with your collection key and start sending requests.

Base URLhttps://quanta-api-backend.vercel.app/endpoints/fetch/<path>
Auth headerx-collection-api-key
Body envelope{ "body": {...}, "header": {...} }
curl -X POST https://quanta-api-backend.vercel.app/endpoints/fetch/akun \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -H "x-collection-api-key: YOUR_COLLECTION_KEY" \
  -d '{"body":{"username":"ammar"},"header":{}}'

What you get back

X-Response-Latency

Simulated latency in milliseconds.

X-Request-Method

HTTP method that matched the endpoint.

X-Validation-Errors

JSON array of validation errors (only on failure).

Handle real-world failures

With error simulation enabled, the same request can return a502,504, or429at random. Build your retries, fallbacks, and error states against them — exactly like production.

Validate payloads too: declare the body and headers your endpoint expects, and mismatched requests come back as400with details in theX-Validation-Errorsheader.
